Priya Sharma joined CaHRU in June 2022 as a Clinical Trials Coordinator in the Lincoln Clinical Trials Unit. She will be involved in all aspects of clinical trials and related activities supporting research within the primary, prehospital and acute care quality themes by planning, coordinating and completing designated projects.
Prior to joining CaHRU, Priya worked as Clinical Trials Coordinator in the global healthcare organization Merck Group and Clinical Research Organization (CRO) for Integrated Drug Development including Pharmaceutical Product Development (PPD) by Thermo Fisher Scientific and IQVIA. She has Coordinated and completed functions on assigned clinical trials activities such as File Reviews, running eTAL, System access management for Organization/ Vendor/ Client in appropriate systems and has also provide System support for various systems including the CTMS (Clinical Trial Management System), Veeva Vault eTMF, Spotfire Visualization, SharePoint, OBI (Oracle Business Intelligence), Globalto Activate, Preclarus and Endpoint. She has assisted the Clinical Research Associate, Regulatory and Start up (RSU) team with accurately updating and maintaining clinical systems by tracking site compliance and performance within project timelines.
Priya holds a degree in Pharmacy. She also holds various certification courses from the World Health Organization (WHO) and Uppsala Monitoring Centre, for example in Good Clinical Practice, Vaccine Safety Basis, Collecting ad Reporting Adverse Events in Clinical Research, Signal detection and causality assessment.
