Could you help with an important research study about doctors in GP specialty training preparing for the Workplace Based Assessment?

We would be grateful if you could help with an important new interview study about doctors experiencing difficulties with Workplace Based Assessment (WPBA) during GP training.

If you are a doctor currently at any stage of UK general practice specialty training and have received an outcome 2 or 3 at any Annual Review of Competence Progression, our research team at the University of Lincoln would welcome the opportunity to discuss with you challenges relating to WPBA experienced during training and strategies for overcoming these. We feel that you would have valuable insights into how best to improve the WPBA to make it more user friendly and would value an interview to discuss this with you if you are happy to do so.

You will be invited to take part in a single interview lasting from 30 – 60 minutes.

To participate in the study or for further information, please contact the researchers by email: Dr Joseph Akanuwe (jakanuwe@lincoln.ac.uk), Dr Julie Pattinson (jpattinson@lincoln.ac.uk) or Prof Niro Siriwardena (nsiriwardena@lincoln.ac.uk).

Thank you for your consideration of participating in this important study.
